Файл sadness.pdf открывается только в программах Adobe и содержит в себе 415 страниц, на которых один и тот же скан страницы газеты Times. Заголовок гласит, что это газета издана 29 февраля 1965 года, который не является високосным. Слова искажены до неузнаваемости, в заголовке написано нечто вроде "Children City APD-la..." (неразборчиво). Любые попытки сохранить скан приводили к отключению питания ОЗУ, за которым практически сразу следовала перезагрузка. Специалисты смогли определить, что по внешнему виду скан практически неотличим от оригиналов Times. Фотография к статье изображает нечто похожее на затянутое тучами небо.
